Last week saw North Sea Winches securing a contract to supply ramp winch and electronic control systems for the Kashagan Project in Kazakhstan!

The purpose of the winch and electronic control system is to assist the entry and landing of Air Cushioned Barge (ACB) to onshore Bautino facilities via the ACB ramp and to a landing Pad.

On securing the contract North Sea Winches Ray Milner – Sales Manager commented:

‘We are proud to have been selected by NCOC as winch manufacturer for the ACB project. The award of this contract to NSW is a vindication of our versatility and willingness to work with the customer to provide a customised solution to exacting specifications. We have liaised with NCOC over the past 12 months, prior to contract award, to fine-tune our design and to ensure that we supply what the customer wants, on time and in budget.’

 The contract was secured last Wednesday and will run in to August 2019.
